The hike begins and ends in the center of Bovec.
There are three distances to choose from:
- "THE SHORT ONE ARROUND BC" in length 5.7 km (2.5-3.5 hours), the route is also suitable for families with children;
- BOVEC VIEWS - 15.3 km, 711 m. m., (5-6 hours);
- IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF THE ISON FRONT in length 20 km (6-7 hours).
The path will lead us through stunning nature with views of peaks (Kanin, Rombon, Svinjak, Javoršček, Polovnik...), through picturesque villages and hidden corners of Bovec, we will admire the clear Soča, the Gljun spring, the Virje waterfall, and have one of the most beautiful views of the Bovec basin. All three routes have a strong historical touch of World War I. The routes are paved with well-maintained walking paths (sandy and grassy), only a small part is on asphalt. Along the way, we will see and taste honey and honey products, have a warm meal and taste Bovec cheese.
The hike will be guided. We will take care of those who want to complete the route faster, as well as everyone else who wants to take more time to see the sights.
